RESIDENTS IN THE SACRAMENTO REGION TO VOTE FOR AREA IMPROVEMENTS AT EXPERIENCES
WHAT: |
Experiences is a free, traveling, 380 square foot exhibit offering an opportunity for residents in the Sacramento region to share what they love about their home, and shape the area’s future by deciding what attractions are still needed. The exhibit is split into eight different stations—Agri-tourism, River Walk, Recreation, Performing Arts, Kid-Friendly Destinations, Sports & Entertainment, Museums and Art Galleries, and Town Square. Visitors are given 10 ticket stubs to use as “dollars” to vote for where they’d like to see future investments made throughout the region. |
PRESENTED BY: |
Experiences is presented by the Partnership for Prosperity, an effort started by the Sacramento Area Commerce & Trade Organization (SACTO), the Sacramento Metro Chamber, Valley Vision and 34 economic development organizations, to build a 3-5 year collaborative economic development strategy for the six-county region. |
WHEN: |
April 10th-May 10th at varying times |
WHERE: |
9 locations throughout the Sacramento region, including the Auburn Artwalk, Sunrise Mall, Memorial Auditorium, Roseville Galleria, Davis Farmer’s Market, Placerville Town Center, Radisson (in the Grove), Caesar Chavez Park and Second Saturday. |
